Regional cooperation to curb children's labor

National Council for Childhood and Motherhood (NCCM) together with the Regional Program to Curb Children's Labor discussed best ways to cooperate to address worst forms of children's labor.
The Egyptian experience in this field was surveyed as applied in (Dwaiqa and West of Rashah) in Cairo as well as in five other Egyptian governorates.
Ambassadress Moshira Khattab NCCM General Secretary pointed out that Egypt was ahead of many Arab countries in taking measures to curb children's labor due to efforts exerted by Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak, Head of technical consultative committee of NCCM, to upgrade the standard of Egyptian child, that resulted in declaring the national strategy for children's labor in 2005.
