Iraqi FM: Release of Brittish marines, wise decision

Iraq's Foreign Minister in a telephone contact with his Iranian counterpart Thursday welcomed Iran's decision to release the captured Brittish marines accused by Iran of illegally entering Iranian waters and called it a wise action. Mottaki said that after failing to solve the problem via the Security Council and European Union, the British officials opted for bilateral action, adding that such approach could serve as a suitable model for tackling other issues.
