Search for abducted British Journalist

Rafiq al-Husseini, Head of the Palestinian President's Office said today that President Mahmoud Abbas has ordered the security Apparatuses to exert utmost efforts to find the abducted of the BBC British Journalist, Alan Johnson.
Husseini said that investigations are carried out in all directions to follow up and search for Johnson.
He called for exerting cooperation for searching about the abducted journalist, adding that it is a national duty.
The Palestinian Journalists' Syndicate (PJS) strongly denounced today the abduction of Johnston by unidentified militias.
The PJS said that such immoral act violates the human laws and Palestinian traditions, and called on Minister of Interior and apparatuses to bring the kidnappers to the justice. It also urged all local bodies and factions to take serious act to end this issue and work on the safety and the release of Johnston.
The Guardian Unlimited reported that "The Hamas-run Palestinian government said that it was working to release Alan Johnston, the BBC's Gaza correspondent."
