Iraq council of ministers approve oil

US White House spokesman Tony Snow said today that "The
Iraqi Council of Ministers had passed -- or has approved the hydrocarbon law, which will be passed on to the Council of Representatives at sometime in the near future. The Prime Minister has given his benediction to it, as well." The Washington Post said today the law will be "regulating how wealth from the country's vast oil reserves will be shared by its ethnic and sectarian groups"
