Iran urges solution to Lebanese crisis

Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Ali Larijani said Thursday in a joint press conference with his Saudi counterpart, Bandar bin Sultan, at Mehrabad International Airport that "the issue of Lebanon is resolvable."
He said that the any solution should meet the demand of the majority of Lebanese people and return tranquility to the country.
Iran's Ambassador to Beirut underlined the urgent need to make all-out efforts in order to find a solution for the current Lebanese crisis.
Mohammad-Reza Sheibani told reporters after meeting Lebanese foreign ministry General Secretary Hisham al-Dameshghieh that Islamic Republic of Iran is keen to help solve problems of the Islamic world and the region, adding that Lebanon is considered as part of the Islamic community.
