Lavrov: ME peace not possible without Iran, Syria

Stable peace cannot be achieved in the Middle East without the settlement of all the three conflicts there -- between Lebanon and Israel, between Syria and Israel and between Palestine and Israel, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told journalists today.
"Many Arab countries favor the drawing of all the influential forces into the settlement of the Middle East crisis. This presupposes the participation of Iran and Syria in the settlement of the Lebanese and Palestinian-Israeli problems," he stressed.
