Madani: Arrogance tries to divide Shiites, Sunnis
Saudi Arabia-Iran, Politics, 12/23/2006
Iran's Presidential advisor on Sunni affairs Mowlana Mohammad Ishaq Madani said today in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, that arrogance is involved in plotting to create schisms between Shiites and Sunnis.
"Hundreds of innocent Muslim men and women are killed daily in such crisis-torn states as Iraq and Afghanistan -- such 'blasphemous' act is the result of conspiracies of global arrogance, led by the US," said Madani in an address to a seminar in this holy city on Saturday.
Madani said that progress and growing awareness of Muslims have scared the enemies and unfortunately in some parts of the globe Muslim sects are trapped in satanic plots.
