EU calls on Israel to stop violations of Lebanese air space
Lebanon-Israel-European Union, Politics, 11/13/2006

The European Union today urged Israel to stop violations of Lebanese airspace by the Israeli Air Force. EU Foreign Ministers' Council meeting in Brussels Monday also called on all countries in the "region to refrain from any interference in Lebanon's internal affairs" and to provide firm support to Lebanon's Government in reconstruction efforts.

"The EU continues to be committed to supporting the legitimate and democratically elected Lebanese government and its efforts to stabilise the situation in the country, and to maintain its unity," noted the statement.
