Ahmadi-Nejad meets Kaddoumi: Palestine test human dignity

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad today said that the issue of Palestine has become a test for trust in dignity, nobility, freedom and justice of human beings which would eventually result in the victory of Muslim and independent nations.
He made the remarks in meeting with the Head of the Palestinian Liberation Organization's (PLO) Political Department and Secretary of Fatah Central Committee Farouk Kaddoumi.
The president underlined that the fate of Palestine would play significant role in determining the fate of the Islamic Ummah and all freedom-seekers round the world. Iranian nation and government support the oppressed Palestinian until the achievement of their cause, he said.
Referring to successive defeats of Israelis and their supporters, he said the "Zionist are on their decline and try to exert political, psychological and military pressure on Palestinians along with other Muslims and freedom seekers to urge them give up their morales."
Liberation of the holy Qods (Jerusalem) would be only be materialized through resistance, cooperation, and unity of all Muslims, he said. The philosophy of existence of Zionists has gone under question and this idea has cast doubt even among the supporters of the fabricated regime, he said.
The Palestinian official, for his part, lauded Iran's strong support for Palestinian resistance and said consolidated and powerful stance adopted by Iran's Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Iranian president on the issue of Palestine and Israeli occupiers have strengthened the determination of the Palestinian in the fight against Zionists.
Successive failure of Israeli and American plots in the Middle East region has roots in the weak spirit of their leaders and their supporters, he said adding that the Palestinian nation, with the support of Islamic countries and the Islamic Republic of Iran in particular, would create grounds for liberation of holy Qods, he concluded.
Meantime, Iran's Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad Adel in a meeting with deputy speaker of the Palestinian Legislative Council on Sunday said that Israel is committing crime in Palestine to compensate for its defeat in Lebanon war. Bahar, who is heading a high-ranking delegation to the said conference, lauded Iran's stance towards Palestinians.
Turning to Israeli crimes in occupied territories, he added that Israel destroys human and material infrastructures. He also referred to the detention of Palestine parliament's speaker and 40 MPs, adding that the regime plans to get in the way of the country's legislative power, but Palestinians showed that they will not recognize illegitimate Israel.
