Aviation minister orders re-operation of Cairo-Beirut line
Egypt-Lebanon, Politics, 8/18/2006

Egyptian Civil Aviation Minister Ahmed Shafiq ordered the re-operation of the Cairo-Beirut airline as soon as possible. A well-placed source at the Cairo International Airport said that flights to the Beirut airport will be resumed after getting permission from the Lebanese authorities.

Meanwhile, EgyptAir Company suspended an additional airlift to Damascus, which was primarily meant to transfer Egyptians and Arabs evacuated from Lebanon.
