Iran VP meets Iraqi official, stress need for unity

Iran's First Vice-President Parviz Davoudi said that the Iraqi popular government does not need any help from the occupiers in administering the country, adding that withdrawal of the occupation forces would definitely lead to establishment of tranquility and security in Iraq.
In a meeting with Abu Balal Adib, the special envoy of the Iraqi prime minister, he underlined the need for solidarity of different Iraqi ethnic groups.
Expressing the hope that the reconstruction operation of the war-torn Iraq would start soon, Davoudi voiced Iran's readiness to participate in reconstruction of the neighboring country.
He further called for speedy implementation of different economic, infrastructure and development projects in Iraq and stressed that Iran is willing to help Iraq to that end.
The Iranian first vice president invited Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki to visit Iran.
For his part, the Iraqi envoy said the popular Iraqi government is making all-out efforts, through cooperation of the nation, to establish stability, security and welfare in his country.
He voiced Baghdad's readiness to make use of Iran's experiences and assistance in order to build a developed country.
