Minister: Iran will make enemy repent its policy of aggression
Lebanon-Iran, Politics, 7/26/2006

Iran's Defense Minister Mostafa Mohammad Najjar today said that Iran's armed forces are fully prepared to confront any attacks and make the enemy feel remorse for its policy of aggression.

Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of Majlis open session, he said that as Iran's defense minister, he declares the readiness of the armed forces to repulse any aggression.

Turning to the claim of Israel on Iran's mediation in Lebanon, he said that such claims are aimed at launching psychological warfare and will get nowhere.

On the occupation of parts of Lebanon by Israel, he said that Israel aims to brag that it has gained some victory by occupying territories in Lebanon.

He pointed to the fact that Israel targets the whole entity of Lebanon and said that the war attrition will certainly be against the interests of Israel.

The minister referred to the Israeli attacks on Lebanon as a pre-planned plot and said that Israel's brutality and aggression, which is rooted in its weakness, has been proved to everyone throughout history.

Najjar said that Hizbullah's resistance to the Israeli attacks has broken its war machine and disproved the myth of Israel's invincibility.

Underlining the evident superiority of Hizbullah in this unequal war, he said that Israel has shown its inferiority in this war.
