Mubarak tackles regional situation with Jordan King, al-Assad

Egypt' President Hosni Mubarak had a phone call with Jordanian King Abdullah and Syria's President Bashar Al-Assad. The conversations tackled the latest Israeli military escalation in the Gaza Strip and south Lebanon. Al-Assad has got a verbal message from President Mubarak during his meeting yesterday with Foreign Minister Ahmed Abul-Gheit who paid a flight visit to Damascus in the afternoon, accompanied by Presidential spokesman ambassador Suleiman Awwad.
