Egypt's electrification almost complete

Egypt's Minister of Electricity HiassanYounes said yesterday that "Egypt succeeded to increase its total generated power by eightfold in 20 years, and there is no other developing country managed to provide electricity to 99 percent of its people."
He added that the total cost of 2006 projects in the governorate reached about LE4.5 billion.
