Beirut and Los Angeles to sign sister city agreement

Beirut and Los Angeles will sign a sister city agreement to boost cooperation and ties between both cities. The announcement was made by Beirut Mayor Abdel Menen Arees after a meeting with head of the Future bloc in Parliament MP Saad Hariri.
Mayor Arees was accompanied by a Los Angeles City delegation led by Councilman Eric Garcetti. Mr. Arees stressed that the project was the fruit of assassinated Prime Minister Rafic Hariri's efforts.
