Iran, Maghreb discuss cooperation in the religious sector

Iranian Ambassador to Maghreb Mohammad Masjed-Jamei met with Maghrebian Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs Ahmed Taufik Friday and discussed ways of expanding bilateral ties.
The two sides also examined ways of enhancing Islamic endowments and cooperation in the areas of architecture and repair of religio- historical monuments.
Cooperation in Quranic education, Islamic research and calligraphy are other areas of collaboration between the two Islamic nations.
An Iranian delegation from Astan-e Qods Razavi is due to visit Maghreb next week upon the invitation of Minister Ahmed Taufik.
The delegation will discuss the possibility of promoting Iran- Maghreb religious cooperation.
