Syrian defense minister to visit Iran

Deputy Commander of Syria's Armed Forces and Defense Minister Lieutenant General Hassan Ali Turkmani is scheduled to visit Iran at the head of a high-ranking defense delegation.
His official four-day visit starting Monday will take place in response to the invitation of Defense Minister General Mostafa Mohammad-Najjar. Turkmani will confer with high-ranking Iranian defense and political officials on bilateral ties as well as the latest regional and international developments.
