Libyan Egyptian brotherhood society meeting

The Libyan- Egyptian brotherhood society held a meeting at the people's Hall in Tripoli, in the presence of the General Coordinator of Social People's Leadership of Libya, chairman of the office for the follow up of Egyptian Relations to Great Jamahiriya, and the secretary of the people's Committee of the general conference of people's societies.

The General Coordinator praised the depth of brotherly relations and historic ties linking both Libyan and Egyptian people. He expressed the readiness of the Social People's Leadership of Libya to render whatever may advance and consolidate such ties between both peoples.

The leader Muammar al-Qathafi is a symbol of pride and dignity of the Arab nation " he said.

The meeting devoted to the discussion of a host of issues pertaining to the society's programmes to be implemented by the society this year, and presenting a proposal on the assigning and selection of an executive director of the society and establishing a branch in Benghazi.
