Visiting Bahraini Minister of Justice Sheikh Muhammad bin Ali al-Sitri, accompanied by a delegation, and his Iranian counterpart Jamal Karimi-Rad today in Tehran conferred on the prospect of judicial cooperation between the two states.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Karimi-Rad said that the agreement on multifaceted judicial cooperation was high on the agenda of today's talk.

The Iranian minister said that the judicial system of Iran and Bahrain are quite similar and declared Iran's readiness to exchange the country's experience on various judicial issues, in particular the recent ones in the domain of judicial management, promotion of judicial affairs and establishment of semi-judicial centers such as arbitration councils.
Turning to the common water frontiers of the two countries and fishermen's trespassing into the other side by mistake from time to time, he said that at the meeting it was underlined that the fishermen who trespassed the borders without any ill intentions should be given the freedom of movement.
"Meanwhile, Al-Sitri promised to pursue the case of 10 Iranian fishermen who were prosecuted recently after they trespassed the common maritime border and entered Bahraini waters," he added.
The Bahraini minister expressed satisfaction with his tour to Iran and said that his talks with Iranian officials were constructive.
He pointed to the agreement reached on judicial collaboration and hoped that the relevant document, for which some regulations should be approved by his country, will be signed in Bahrain during the upcoming visit of Iranian minster.
