Israeli occupation arrests 25 Palestinians

Israel said today it captured in Ramallah, the West Bank, commander of the Hamas military wing, 41-year-old Sheikh Ibrahim Hamed, after 8 years of trying to do so.

Also, the Israeli occupation forces arrested today 25 Palestinians in the West Bank (WB) cities of Nablus, Bethlehem and Ramallah, security sources said.

They added that mass of Israeli soldiers besieged the residential compound of al-Shashtari building in al-Makhfiya neighborhood of Nablus and arrested 15 students of al-Najjah university. The Israeli occupation forces also arrested the policeman Abdulrahman Afana 37, and led him into an unknown location.

Witnesses said that Israeli soldiers stormed at pre-dawn Dheisha refugee camp, west Bethlehem and arrested four citizens, leading them into an unknown spot. The Israeli occupation forces also arrested more two citizens of Dawha town, west the city and took them into an unknown fate.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces surrounded a house in Balo' area in Ramallah, arresting three citizens.

Israel said a border policeman was lightly wounded today when Palestinians threw rocks at them near the village of Beit Awwa, west of Hebron. The Palestinians are trying to rid themselves of the Israeli occupation.
