Lebanon army, clashes with Palestinian group

The "Lebanese army soldiers exchanged fire with pro-Syrian Palestinian guerrillas in eastern Lebanon on Wednesday, wounding a soldier and a fighter, security sources said. They said the brief skirmish began when an army patrol came under fire from a post of the Fatah Uprising guerrilla group at the village of Yanta near the border with Syria in the Bekaa Valley," The New York Times reported today.
