Arab gas pipeline to Europe being studied

Egypt's Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmi said an agreement was reached with petroleum ministers of the countries taking part in the Arab gas pipeline on timetable of the coming stages of the Arab gas pipeline to extend it to European countries via Turkey.
Turkish minister of energy and chairman of the Arab fund for social and economic development Abdulatif Al -Hamad attended the meeting.Following the ministerial talk's session, project's current status was reviewed.
Fahmi said joint work group was assigned the task of completing economic and technical feasibility studies of the part extending from the Syrian city of Horns to the Turkish city of Kelis.
