Israel celebrates father of modern political Zionism

Israel, under a declaration of the Israeli parliament declared today, May 8, as Herzl day in memory of his Zionist ideology teaching.

Theodor (Binyamin Ze'ev) Herzl (1860-1904), is said by Israel to be the father of modern political Zionism.

Israel said "To this end, a public council was established to educate future generations and to shape the State of Israel in accordance with Herzl's Zionist vision."

Meantime, Israel, a brutal occupier of the Palestinians, said its forces during the night arrested 20 wanted Palestinians in the West Bank. Israel declares "wanted" any Palestinian it chooses or simply assassinates them at will.
