Abbas ready to negotiate with Israelis on Roadmap basis

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas today said that "we are ready to negotiate with the upcoming Israeli government on the basis of the Roadmap."
President Abbas told reporters following his meeting with King Abdullah II of Jordan, in Amman, that "we will send a message to the Palestinian and Israeli peoples, telling them that we are ready to negotiate with the Israeli government on the basis of the Roadmap Peace plan."
