Yemeni speaker: Iran's nuclear technology a significant achievement for Muslims

Yemeni Parliament Speaker Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hussein al-Ahmer today said that the achievement of Iranian scientists in the field of nuclear energy is a success for all Muslims worldwide.
The Yemeni official made the remarks in his meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Sanaa Hossein Kamalian.
According to the Iranian embassy in Sanaa, at the meeting the Yemeni parliament speaker said this great achievement is considered auspicious and significant not only for the Iranian nation but also for other Muslims around the world.
Given Iran's legitimate right to nuclear technology, Yemen calls for peaceful solution of Iran's nuclear dossier, he underlined.
It is the legitimate right of all countries to benefit from peaceful nuclear technology, he underlined.
The Iranian ambassador, for his part, briefed the Yemeni official on the latest developments regarding Iran's peaceful nuclear activities and said the achievement belongs to all Muslims.
All nations including the Islamic Republic of Iran have the right to acquire nuclear technology, he said while criticizing the double-standard policies of the West in dealing with the issue.
At the meeting, the two sides also reviewed expansion of parliamentary cooperation.
Highlighting the achievements of the recent International Conference to Support al-Qods and Palestinians Rights held in Tehran from April 14-16, the Yemeni parliament speaker thanked Iran's stance in supporting the Palestinians and underlined that Iran and Yemen have common stance on this.
Also, Iran's achievements in all fields, its completion of the nuclear fuel cycle in particular, belongs to to all Muslim and neighboring states of the Middle East region, First Vice- President Parviz Davoudi said yesterday evening. During a meeting with the visiting Qatari Minister for External Affairs Ahmad Bin Abdullah al-Mahmud, Davoudi said ensuring security for this highly volatile region was highly important.
Pointing out Iran's foreign policy of interaction and cooperation with all regional and neighboring states, Davoudi said Muslim states would do well to use their political, cultural and economic potentials to the fullest to promote relations and enhance their dignity. Highlighting Tehran-Doha commonalties, the first vice-president said that Iran was ready to boost relations with Qatar particularly in the fields of industry, energy, tourism and transportation.
