Festival of original Arab horses in Libya

The General Coordinator of the Libyan Society for Original Arab Horse Breeders underlined in its speech that the third round of the world festival of original Arab horses "embodies communication with our history and those with whom we share values of horsemanship and ethics of horsemen."

He highlighted the especial interest and care showed by great al-fateh Revolution and its leader Muammar al-Gathafi to these values which constitute a civilized legacy and reflect the greatness of heritage and history.

The General Coordinator of the Society in his speech at the outset of the festival has welcomed Maj Gen al-Khawildi alHamidi president of the Society for attending the activities of this session.

Then he made a brief presentation about the history of the Society and its activities explaining that the society was established in 1999 and ever since it made concerted efforts to safeguard original Arab horses look after they encouraged breeders to register their horses.

He said the society is an official member of the World Organization of Pure Arab Horses as of 2002 Then the festival was declared opened.
