Iran's Ambassador to Lebanon, Masoud Edrissi, today conferred with Lebanon's Foreign Minister Fawzi Salloukh.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Edrissi said that in today's session the recent developments in Lebanon and the Middle East as well as mutual relations were discussed.
"Given the current sensitive regional situation, the level of cooperation between Iran and Lebanon as well as any other country seeking regional stability should be raised," he added.
The Iranian envoy also briefed Salloukh on the latest developments on Iran's nuclear case. According to Edrissi, Salloukh declared his country's support for Iran's fair and lawful stance on its nuclear dossier and underlined that Iran has the right to use nuclear technology for peaceful purposes.
