Hamas, Palestinian factions condemn Egypt bombings
Palestine-Egypt, Politics, 4/26/2006

Hamas and other Palestinian political parties yesterday strongly condemned the triple bombings in Dahab in the Sinai Peninsula, calling them "criminal acts targeting innocent civilians."

"The Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, condemns in the strongest terms the terrorist bombings in the Dahab resort. We believe that the bombings are a criminal act that is starkly incompatible with Islam." Similarly, the Islamic Jihad, Fatah, as well as the democratic and popular fronts for the liberation of Palestine, also condemned the bombings.

More to the point, the chief Islamic Judge of the Palestinian Authority, Sheikh Taysir Tamimi, was quoted as saying that the bombings were " cardinal sins." Tamimi quoted Quranic verses equating the killing of an innocent life with killing the entire humanity.
