Egypt - Libya efforts to contain Sudan -Chad tensions

Egypt called on the Sudan and Chad to be committed to the text of the Tripoli peace accord signed by both countries during the African summit held in Great Jamahiriya designed to contain tension between the two countries using dialog.
Also, Egypt President Hossni Mubarak spoke with Qathafi regarding the regional and Darfur situation.
Sudan confirmed its commitment to implement Tripoli Peace Accord issued by the African Summit held on the 8th of last February in Libya.
The Sudanese presidential envoy, AlMajdoub Khalifa Ahmed, visited Libya and briefed the Libyan leader Muammar al-Qathafi on the ongoing negotiations currently held in Abuja between different Sudanese parties to find a solution to the Darfur problem.
