Palestinian parliament speaker urges Muslims to take action against Israel

Palestinian Parliament Speaker Abdul Aziz Duaik expressed hatred for the US all-out support for the Israeli occupiers, adding that the Zionists winning supports of American have always bombarded or shelled our homes and cities and never hesitated to massacre Palestinian nation.
He made the remark in a televised speech aired by satellite TV at the International Conference on Qods and Support for the Rights of Palestinian People.
Duaik failed to attend the conference because Israel did not allow him to leave the occupied territories. The West as sham advocate of democracy has kept silence against all these crimes, he said "One should ask them what type of democracy is this?,"
"We are to defend our legitimate rights until formation of independent Palestinian government," he said. He called all freedom-lovers round the globe mainly the Muslims to take action and support Palestinian nation to guarantee existence of Palestinian government.
For his part, he congratulated the Iranian nation on latest achievements in the field of nuclear technology and said this significant achievement brought dignity and pride for the world oppressed while was cause of discontent for hegemonic powers.
The Third International Conference on Qods and Support for the Rights of Palestinian People kicked off here Friday evening with a keynote speech by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Majlis Speaker Gholam-Ali Haddad-Adel, Judiciary Chief Mahmoud Hashemi Shahroudi and Iranian and foreign political and cultural figures are participating in the conference, organized upon an initiative of the Supreme Leader.
All Palestinian groups should form a united front vis-a-vis US-Israeli coalition against people of Palestine, said Secretary-General of Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine Naif Hawatmeh.
"Administration of US President George W. Bush and the Zionist regime of Israel made a coalition against the oppressed people of Palestine, the official told IRNA on the sidelines of the International Conference on Holy Qods and Support for Palestinian People.
The three-day conference is being held here with participation of 16 parliament speakers from Islamic states and a large number of Muslim scholars.
Hawatmeh said that the only way to defuse the current heavy pressures of their coalition against Palestinians was to adopt a "united strategy and tactical plan against the occupying regime of Israel and his western allay (US)."
Hawatmeh added that people of Palestine are struggling for their rights which are reaching self-determination, establishing an independent state and repatriation of Palestinian refugees who according to the official were sheltered in 50 world countries.
He said that putting an end to the Israeli occupation and its expansionist policy as well as ending the cruel steps taking by US against the Palestinian nation and its government, were the priorities of all Palestinians.
Hawatmeh also called the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO) to rebuild its unity and try to form a united national assembly which would seek all legitimate rights of the Palestinians.
