Sudanese diplomat says Palestine Conference held on right time

A Sudanese diplomat said in Tehran yesterday that the ongoing Conference on Palestine, held in Tehran, is of high significance because it is held at a right time. "The conference is held at the right time because in Palestine we are facing a real challenge; we have an elected government, a genuine popular government which is facing a challenge; not recognized by Israel and her allies."
Former Sudanese ambassador to Tehran and Sudanese President's political advisor Gutbi al-Mahdi added in an interview with IRNA on the sidelines of the third International Conference on Al-Qods and Support for the Rights of the Palestinian People in Tehran on Friday that the Muslim world is required to support the Palestinian government in the face of its challenges.
