Ramadan Abdallah: Recognition of Israel is submission to hegemony

Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Organization Ramadan Abdallah Shallah said on Saturday that recognition of Israel is tantamount to submission to hegemony.

Addressing the audience in the Third International Conference on Qods and Support for the Rights of Palestinian People, he said some say the enemy (Israel) is right to treat with us as slaves.

Palestinian people and Hamas government are now under siege, he said adding that the Hamas movement has been targeted by the enemy, he said.

"We strongly declare that Palestine is totally independent and we share common views with Hamas to this end," he pointed out.

"Our ancestors for a three-decade long resisted economic sanctions imposed by the enemies and we are now ready to pave the same path and suffer starvation for the whole life," he said.

Our mottos is that "We suffer starvation but never submit to hegemony," he said.

The Americans seek to maintain a Jewish country without giving any chance to Palestinians, he pointed out.

He called all Arab and Islamic countries to assist Palestinians to safeguard Beitul Moqaddas.

He said that if Intifada was not existed, all Islamic states would be targeted adding that Palestine could bring failure to American Roadmap plan.

Addressing the Arab states, he said no one asks you to share with Intifada but we call on you not to assist occupying entity and never call for normalization of relations with them, he said.

Struggle is the only path to liberation of Palestine, he said adding that there is no political solution for liberation of Palestine and this would be attained by struggle and resistance.

The westerners should recognize Palestine as the mere solution to the issue, he concluded.

The Third International Conference on Qods and Support for the Rights of Palestinian People kicked off here Friday evening with a keynote speech by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei.
