On the resignation of Jaafari

Adel Abdul Mahdi, one if the main leaders of the United Iraqi Coalition, renewed his demands for Ibrahim al-Jaafari to give up his nomination for the prime minister position of the Iraqi government.
Prior to that Abdul Mahdi, one of the candidates for prime minister position of the government, criticized Jaafari saying that his government had not enough sufficiency and he does not enjoy the full consent of the parliament as it is now.
Jaafari renewed his cling to the competition for the new term of office despite pressure, while the leading figure in the Sadr Trend, Salaam al-Maliki, warned against foreign pressures against the Shiite coalition to give up support for Jaafari.
