Sharaa: Arab Summit is successful and positive results

Syria's Vice President Farouq al-Sharaa described the Arab Summit as "a successful summit" and its results as "positive."
Meeting with Information Minister Muhssen Bilal, directors and editors-in-chiefs of media institutions, Sharaa said " The meetings and consultations that President Bashar al-Assad has held on the sidelines of the Arab Summit and in the closed-door session have contributed in coming to resolutions serving the Arab causes."
He hailed the summit resolutions regarding the Arab firm support to Syria and rejection of the US unilateral sanctions on her, supporting the Palestinian people's democratic choice, ensuring assistant to the Palestinian Authority and emphasizing Iraq's territorial unity and integrity in addition to complete solidarity with Lebanon in face of Israeli continued aggressions.
Sharaa urged the press to double efforts to develop media performance and convey information to the public opinion "truly and objectively."
He indicted the importance of investing our media personnel that have proved eligibility, touching upon the upcoming steps that the Syrian media will witness changes of printings law, establishing satellite channels in the frame work of media free area that has recently been launched.
