Israelis vote in critical elections

Israeli voters head today to the ballot centers to choose their representatives in the Knesset (Parliament).
This time the voting will be a referendum on the future of Israel in the West Bank with the announcement made by the interim Israeli prime minister Ehud Olmert leader of Kadima party his determination to withdraw unilaterally from more Palestinian occupied lands, in the absence of a Palestinian agreement with the introduction of the Islamic resistance movement (Hamas) to power.
The elections day in Israel is considered an official day in Israel. The number of persons eligible to voting in Israel is 4.5 million and it is expected that 70% of them will vote.
