Al-Assad arrives in Khartoum, meets Lebanese president, ruler of Kuwait

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad arrived in Khartoum, Sudan, on Monday to participate in the Arab Summit meeting due to start today. Later, he received Lebanese counterpart Emile Lahoud at his official residence in the Sudanese capital on Monday.

Al-Assad visited the Kuwaiti ruler Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah of Kuwait at his official residence.
