Iran will powerfully resist enemies: Ahmadinejad
Iran, Politics, 3/27/2006

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Dehdasht on Monday said the Iranian government nation will make every effort to gain access to nuclear technology for peaceful ends and will powerfully resist the enemies.

Addressing a huge gathering of local residents of Dehdasht, he stressed that the Iranian nation will not back down on its right to pursue peaceful nuclear energy despite pressures being exerted by the enemies.

"Today several powerful countries have polluted the world atmosphere by ignoring the rules of morality," he said, adding that all the oppression and disorder in human society can be blamed on certain countries which are dead to spiritual and religious values.

said enemies intend to get concessions from the Islamic Iran by launching psychological warfare and misinformation.

"It is high time they would be accountable for their crimes," said the president addressing people of various walks of life on his first day of visit to this southwestern province.

"Enemies are against our progress and development and are unhappy with our acquiring nuclear energy. Through these acts of misinformation, they want to get concessions from us," he said.

Stressing that enemies will not be able to prevent Iran's progress, he said, "Our nation will respond the enemies and the mischievous ones resolutely.
"They should apologize to Iran for their insults. They accuse the Iranian nation of war-mongering and this is the biggest insult."
