Hamas delegation in Kuwait

A delegation representing the Islamic resistance movement (Hamas) led by its political bureau chairman Khaled Mashaal visits Kuwait in order to meet with the Kuwaiti officials and discuss latest developments concerning the Palestinian question and means of supporting Hamas which has assumed the mission of running the country's affairs.
This three day visit falls in the course of a plenary tour by Hamas movement to cover several Arab and Islamic states in order to get financial and political support for the movement.
On Friday, Hamas delegation visited Libya and got a promise of support from the Libyan leader Muammar al-Qathafi. So far the delegation visited Saudi Arabia, Yemen, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Turkey, Sudan and Russia.
In Libya Mashaal was reported by the official news agency as expressing appreciation for the Libyan leader and the Libyan people "who were always major supporters and effectively backed the struggle of the Palestinian people." The agency added "They have come to the Great Jamahiriya because of its major role in supporting the Palestinian cause and all other Arab causes and due to its weight and the courage and wisdom of the Leader of the Revolution."
The Arab League promised to continue providing financial aid for the Palestinian authority.
