Ecclesiastical delegation visits Keftaro Academy
Syria-UK, Religion, 3/25/2006
The ecclesiastical delegation representing British Wales at the Peoples Palace has demanded the international community to force Israel to comply with and implement the UN resolutions.
Head of the delegation Gethan Ibraham Williams, during a visit to Keftaro Academy Friday, underlined importance of dialogue between the Muslims and Christians which reflects positively on the coexistence between them.
"We, Muslims and Christians, will remain friends to confront the unjust causes for building the international peace," Williams said.
"Most of the churches in Britain had condemned the war on Iraq and the racial separation wall in Palestine," He said, adding "These churches are still exerting pressure on the government to pull out of Iraq."
Director of the academy Sheikh Salah Eddin Keftaro, for his part, hailed the national unity and coexistence that Syria enjoys, saying that all heavenly religions call for love, fraternity and peace.
