Regional-Israel, Politics, 3/24/2006
Arab League Secretary General Amr Moussa has stressed that the Arab initiative for peace as the base for any Arab stance in any negotiations with Israel.
"The Arabs are neither in a state of hostility with the US nor in a complete agreement with it, particularity in its full bias to Israel and giving no heed to the Arab interests," Moussa said in a statement published Thursday by the Egyptian newspaper of al-Akhbar.
"Israel doesn't give anything to the Arabs, so we don't care about its views towards the Palestinian national resistance of Hamas," Moussa concluded.
