Egypt to organize Pan-Arab games 2007

Egypt's government said It was the right to organize the Pan-Arab Games 2007, beating Lebanon by a vote of 12 to 10, while Syria withdrew from the cometition at the last moment.
The Pan-Arab games were first held in Alexandria in 1953.
