Ahmadinejad calls West to oppologies to Iran
Iran-Regional, Politics, 3/21/2006
Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad yesterday said that Iran has acquired the knowledge and technology for peaceful production of nuclear fuel and would stand firmly to regain its rights.
"Iranian nation has by relying on its faith, self-confidence, and the talents and intelligence of its youth attained the knowledge and technology for peaceful nuclear fuel production; today we announce with pride that the peaceful knowledge and technology are in our disposal in order to be used for different purposes, including electricity generation and we have not borrowed it from anybody that can take it away from us; they should be confident that Iranian nation has stood firmly to regain its rights and will continue the path until their full restoration," said Ahmadinejad in his televised message, while referring to the "enemy's psychological war" and global controversy over Iran's peaceful nuclear technology.
Touching on the damage inflicted on the Iranian nation over the past two and half years as a result of restrictions imposed on the country's access and use of peaceful nuclear technology, President Ahmadinejad called for compensation of the damage.
"I recommend to these few states to compensate the damage and apologize the great Iranian nation for the issue; and they should know that Iranian nation's memory is very clear and sensitive and would bear all the events; and the countries had better act in a way that they would have a position for Iranian nation's friendship," said Ahmadinejad.
Ahmadinejad said "The noble Iranian nation has never done any injustice against anybody and would neither be yoked by tyranny."
