WHO helps Sudan against meningitis outbreaks
United Nations agencies are helping Sudanese health authorities fight an outbreak of meningococcal meningitis with vaccination campaigns and technical guidance as the potentially fatal disease threatens to reach epidemic proportions in several states in Africa's largest country.
