Six Iraqis killed in new attacks

Six Iraqi were killed and other 18 injured in attacks and explosions early in of the day.

Two Iraqis were killed and other 4 injured when one suicide bomber detonated himself by an explosive belt in a small bus near a fuel station in al-Fadelieh area east of Baghdad.

In another development, a source at the Iraqi ministry of defense announced that three Iraqis were killed and other 5 were injured in two separate armed attacks targeted Shiite processions heading from al-Yarmouk and al-Adel areas west of Baghdad to Karbala on the occasion of celebrating the assassination anniversary if Imam al-Hussein.

A source in the Iraqi police announced the killing of one Iraqi and injuring other 9 by a bomb explosions and fire opened targeted other Shiite processions heading for Karbala near al-Yousefeyah and al-Mahmoudeyah south of Baghdad.

For its part, the Iraqi police stressed it found four bodies for Iraqis who were kidnapped from a rental car in Azameyah area of the Sunni majority in Baghdad on Thursday. The police also found two bodies in al-Sader city and a third in al- Shu'la quarters also in Baghdad.

These incidents come at a time when sermons of the mosques preachers on Friday concentrated on demanding what they called striking the terrorists and preventing their operations and warning against a civil war after the escalation of sectarian acts of violence since the blowing up of the dome of the two Imams of Ali al-Hadi and Hassan al-Askari in Samara in February.
