More bodies in Baghdad
Iraq, Military, 3/17/2006
The Iraqi police found 35 unidentified bodies in different areas of Baghdad.
Security sources said that the bodies had traces of torture, noting that those persons seemed to have been killed by bullets and many of them were hand tightened, in what seems to be a pattern in many killings.
In another development, one young Iraqi was killed and other 6 were injured as they were exposed to the fire of the Iraqi police in a demonstration in the Kurdish Halabja city in Suleimaneyah governorate north of Iraq.
The demonstration came in protest of the authorities prevention of demonstrators to celebrate the 18 anniversary of the attack on the city by chemical weapons at the time of the government of Saddam Hussein.
