US reinforcement reintroduced into Iraq

The US defense department intends to bring in forces ranging between 700 and 800 troops from Kuwait to Iraq in order to enhance security on the occasion of celebrating Imam al-Hussein assassination anniversary.

The American military sources said that the reinforcement will be deployed in Baghdad area for 30 to 45 days in order to ensure security during celebrations of al-Hussein's assassination anniversary on March 20.

Moreover, the spokesman for the Pentagon, Brian Wittman, said that Iraqi and coalition forces might be deployed in all parts of the country in order to ensure security during al-Hussein's assassination anniversary and the phase for forming the Iraqi government.
