Israeli warplanes violate the Lebanese atmospheres
Lebanon-Israel, Military, 3/14/2006
The Israeli warplanes on Monday violated the Lebanese airspace in the south on the wake of Israel's announcement of the state of alert in the lines of its soldiers along the borders with Lebanon.
The Lebanese security sources said that three Israeli jets flew at low altitude for 25 minutes over the city of Tyre, south Beirut, and its area and along the Lebanese borders and over the coastal road which links south Lebanon with Beirut until al-Zahrani area north of Tyre.
This came hours after an announcement made by the Israeli army to tighten the state of alert along the Lebanese borders of fears that attacks from Hizbullah party or kidnapping of civilians or military men.
On the other hand, the spokesman for the UN forces working in Lebanon UNIFIL described the situation on the border as tense.
He mantioned the state of alert in the lines of the Israeli army and the Israeli air violations of the Blue Line -- a line which was not drawn by the UN to be a borders after Israeli's withdrawal from south Lebanon in May 2000.
