Qathafi praised for helping Chad - Sudan

The High Council for Islamic Affairs in Chad praised Libya leader Muammar al-Qathafi efforts' for peace and stability across the African continent and to contain tension between Chad and Sudan.

JANA reported yesterday that "A cable sent by the High Council for Islamic Affairs in Chad Sheikh Hussein Hassan Abkar said The High Council for Islamic Affairs in Chad being a member of World Islamic People's Leadership and backed by mosque imams .. and scholars follow up before hand your great efforts to extinguish the fire of schism through out Africa thanks to Allah and to your wisdom. Today you delighted us by your endeavor to mediate and mend fences between the two brotherly countries Chad and Sudan."
