Continued attacks in Iraq

Under atmosphere of political tension, the field situation in Iraq yesterday witnessed more deterioration that resulted in leaving several Iraqis killed or injured.
Nine Iraqis were killed including one child while other 6 were injured in a bomb explosion targeting one vehicle for the Iraqi army in al-Amereyah quarters west of Baghdad.
One booby trapped car went off before al-Yarmiuk hospital in the center of Baghdad and this resulted in injuring at least 14 Iraqis. The police said that Iraqi soldiers who were transporting their injured colleagues from the site of clashes. Clashes took place by machine guns with gunmen in al-Amereyah when the explosion took place.
The explosion resulted in setting fire in two military vehicles but the police said that all the victims are civilians.
In another attack, one man and one woman were killed. The woman said to be working in the fortified Green Zone in the center of Baghdad after she was attacked by unidentified gunmen on Thursday morning and opened fire at her before they had escaped.
Meantime, the Iraqi ministry of interior is making a plenary investigation in the incident where 50 employees working in a security company were kidnapped in Baghdad on Wednesday after one armed group wearing police uniform broke into al-Rawafid company specialized in providing security services to several commercial companies in Iraq.
Though sources at the ministry of interior denied any connection for the ministry to that incident, other sources at the ministry asked to by anonymous said that this operation was carried out by Commando forces for the Iraqi police. The Iraqi Sunni complain against continuously of breaking in operations carried out by the ministry of interior against them.
