More unidentified bodies were found in Iraq

An announcement was made for finding 24 unidentified bodies with tightened hands and eyes in various parts of Baghdad. Some 18 bodies were found in a small truck in al-Amereyah area west of the capital. Police sources said that the victims are almost of same age and many of them were strangled while others were shot to death.

Other 8 unidentified bodies were found in al-Yousefeyah area south of Baghdad by fire bullets. Three of these bodies were beheaded. Unidentified men opened fire at Hussein Ali Aweid a former officer in the Iraqi police and he was killed immediately in west Baghdad.

Various parts of Iraq witnessed attacks and explosions that resulted in killing 15 persons including several police officers. The American army announced the killing of one of its soldiers and one marine and injuring other four in two attacks that took lace in north and west Iraq.

In Falluja, west of Baghdad, the police said that one American copters fired a missile at the house of a mosque preacher Sheikh Abdul Salaam al-Duleimi and this resulted in chopping the two legs of the Sheikh's wife and serious injuries of his children. The American army has been chasing Duleimi since a while accusing him of armed acts.

In another development, it was announced in Baghdad that the American army released 122 Iraqi prisoners from the American jails in Iraq. The American forces keep scores of thousands of Iraqis in its jails in Baghdad, Basra and Suleimaneyh north of Baghdad, most of them not accused nor tried, as stated by the Amnesty International and other organizations.
